COLON HYDROTHERAPY

aegle-colon-hydrotherapy.jpg

Colonic irrigation involves inserting the nozzle of a device into the rectum to send water into the colon. Under controlled temperature and pressure, this 45-minute treatment cleanses the large intestines of toxic waste accumulating in its numerous crevices not otherwise expelled through regular bowel movement.

Colon hydrotherapy, or colonics assists the colon in returning it to its normal function. Those having very irregular bowel movements, such as recurrent periods of constipation lasting for days, or intermittent diarrhea, benefit the most from colonics.

Consultation with an Aegle physician prior to treatment is advised to screen for any possible contraindications, such as recent abdominal surgery, or a history of gastro-intestinal cancer.
