As we navigate through the new normal, Aegle Wellness Center remains committed to maintaining the highest standards of medical treatments and wellness services for safe and worry-free visits to our centers.
Here are the steps that we're implementing as part of our commitment to keeping Aegle Wellness Center 100% free of COVID-19:
Aegle Wellness Center-Makati

Continuous monitoring of the guidelines of Philippine and global public health authorities (including the World Health Organization) for health and safety protocols

Implementation of an online screening assessment prior to the appointment date

Mandatory temperature check, hand sanitization, and use of disinfecting footbath upon entry to the building

Compulsory wearing of face masks by all staff and clients within the building complex. We use 95% disposable materials which are properly disposed of according to the guidelines set by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and the Environmental Practitioners Association (EPA).

Provision of hand sanitizers at the Front Desk and at the center’s key areas

Enforcement of physical distancing in elevators and common areas

Increased frequency of sanitation of all public areas and surfaces (every two hours)

Consistently misting the center’s premises three times a day—morning, afternoon, and evening—meeting international standards for the disinfecting solution by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)

UV treatment of all rooms prior to any appointment to ensure the elimination of harmful pathogens on room surfaces
-
Increased frequency of disinfection of all high-touch areas

Our front-line staff, equipped with the necessary personal protective equipment, will be pleased to greet and assist you upon your arrival at our center in Makati.

We are taking comprehensive measures to make sure our center remains COVID-free.
Aegle Wellness Center-Balesin
All safety protocols done at our center in Makati shall also be implemented at our Balesin site with the following additional measures:

Screening of all guests for COVID-19 risks by having them complete travel and health questionnaires. Non-fully vaccinated guests must undergo Antigen Swab Testing for COVID-19 prior to their flight to the island, while fully vaccinated guests may present their vaccination card in lieu of testing.

Non-fully vaccinated guests staying more than 2 nights on the island must undergo a repeat Antigen Swab Test on their 3rd day in Balesin

Use of disinfecting footbath upon entry to the center

For our thalassotherapy pools, we shall continue to limit the number of people using them at a time. A maximum of four people shall be allowed for the hydromassage pools, while two people shall be allowed for the therapeutic pools.

Within two weeks after departure from Balesin, members and guests must agree to provide any requested information related to the coronavirus, should they happen to develop symptoms after their visit to Aegle-Balesin

Health and Safety Guidelines Under the New Normal
Clients at Aegle-Balesin are encouraged to observe the following health and safety practices during their visit:

Maintain a safe distance of two meters (six feet) between yourself and others.

Wear a face mask in the common areas at all times.
-
Properly dispose of used face masks and other personal protective equipment in the trash bins.

Practice proper handwashing, hygiene, and respiratory etiquette.

Minimize touching of public surfaces.
-
Avoid sharing food or belongings with other guests.
PROPER HANDWASHING

Wet hands with water and apply soap

Lather your hands by rubbing them together with soap, palm-to-palm and between your fingers

Lather the backs of your hands
-
Rub fingertips of each hand on your opposite palm
-
Rub each thumb clasped in your opposite hand
-
Rub both palms with your fingers, then rinse thoroughly with running water

Dry hands with a paper towel
-
Use the paper towel when opening the door
-
Dispose of the paper towel properly
PERSONAL HYGIENE AND ETIQUETTE

Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing.

Use the nearest closed trash bin to properly dispose of the tissue after use.

Perform hand hygiene (e.g., hand washing with soap and water, alcohol-based hand rub, or antiseptic handwash) before and after eating food, after using the bathroom, blowing your nose, coughing, sneezing, and touching contaminated objects.

GUIDELINES ON WEARING MASKS

Before putting on a mask, properly clean hands with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water.

Cover your mouth and nose with the mask and make sure there are no gaps between your face and the mask, ensuring it’s snug on the contours of your nose and cheeks, and under your chin.

Avoid touching the mask while using it; if you do, clean your hands with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water.

Replace the mask with a new one as soon as it is damp, and do not reuse single-use masks.

Remove the mask by the loops, ties, or bands only (do not touch the front of the mask); and discard immediately in a closed bin.

Clean hands with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water.

Travel Advisories for Aegle - Balesin clients
For clients who have recently traveled to areas affected by COVID-19, you will be allowed to proceed with your flight if:
- The result of your Antigen Swab Test is negative

The physician present during the testing gives his or her approval.
