What is the difference between Aegle’s Rapid Antibody Test and COVID-19 Antigen Swab Test?
A Rapid Antibody Test reveals if a person has past infection through detection of antibody immunoglobulins in his/her blood or serum; IgG for past infection and IgM for current. In contrast, an Antigen Test reveals if a person is currently infected with a pathogen such as the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Once the infection has gone, the antigen disappears.

What is the difference between Aegle’s COVID-19 Antigen Swab Test and the RT-PCR Test?
Like the RT-PCR swab test, Aegle’s COVID-19 Antigen Swab Test is used in the qualitative (unquantified) detection of SARS-CoV-2 antigens and thus, it detects the presence or absence of the virus. Unlike the RT-PCR test, which detects the virus’ genetic material (mRNA) through a series of six to eight machine testing steps, the Antigen Swab Test detects the surface proteins of the virus through a one-step test.

Yes, for areas within NCR only. We have a one-time mobilization fee of Php 1,000 per trip, no minimum number of persons required.
