DIAGNOSTICS

BODY COMPOSITION ANALYSIS

Different body types contain different proportions of fat, muscle, and water, each type requiring varying approaches in weight management and maintenance programs.  This is also how basal metabolic rate is determined by our nutritionists and used as a basis for food allowance in the diet.

AUTOMATIC RESPONSE ANALYSIS

The body reacts autonomously to external stress through its sympathetic (fight-flight response) and parasympathetic (homeostatic or balance) systems.  Determining your body’s capacity to respond to stress with minimal effect on itself can be a major factor in delaying aging.

COMPLETE BLOOD COUNT

The count and quality of your blood cells are the most immediate indicators of nutritional status due to their short turnover.  A significant vitamin B deficiency, for example, would manifest as small platelet volume.

MICRONUTRIENT ASSAY

Determining the body’s specific vitamin deficiencies in order to customize supplement prescription.

HORMONE ASSAY

We routinely check your hormone levels and balance.  You age and grow older because your hormones steadily decline.  Controlling this decline can not only help you age more gracefully, but also make you more functional.

TUMOR MARKERS

There are now a number of identified substances in the body that are associated with specific cancers.  Detecting abnormal levels of these substances can help predict development of this disease.

GENOMIC ANALYSIS

Many of the diseases we are prone to in our lifetime are already encoded in our genes from the moment of conception. But this does not mean you are cursed to have that disease. By modifying your environment and lifestyle, you can keep these mutations from being expressed through the science of epigenetics.
